Early 20th century Nobel’s Sporting Cartridges advertising display, featuring a shield-form velvet-mounted array of over 40 shotgun cartridges—many marked with trade names including “Empire,” “Ajax,” “Orion,” “Valeka,” “Kingsway,” and “Ballistite.” Each cartridge is individually fixed to a custom wooden mount, all housed under glass within its original mahogany frame with gilt block lettering reading: NOBEL’S SPORTING CARTRIDGES / GLASGOW & LONDON. A rare cartridge board from one of the most important names in British ammunition manufacturing.
