Hans J. Wegner Model 570 rectangular dining table with teak top and oak base, designed for cabinetmaker Johannes Hansen, Denmark. This iconic Danish modern table features Wegner’s signature minimalist form with softly tapered oak legs and a teak top displaying rich grain.
A distinctive feature of the Model 570 is its ingenious concealed draw-leaf extensions at each end. The integrated leaves slide smoothly from beneath the main tabletop, supported by hidden metal runners that lock securely in place when extended, allowing for expanded dining space without disrupting the table’s clean lines or silhouette.
