A rare and whimsical ceramic lamp by celebrated California funk artist Clayton Bailey, depicting one of his iconic “Pin Head” figures. Executed in low-fire slip-cast ceramic with a green crackle and luster glaze, the expressive figure clutches a rocket-shaped bulb fitting. The base is signed CBC 72 on the underside, referencing Bailey’s “California Bailey Ceramics” period. A playful fusion of science fiction and satire, emblematic of Bailey’s singular style.
