An engraved steel sample panel by A.A. White Engravers, Inc., Manchester, Connecticut, showcasing the studio’s signature gold inlay techniques. The detailed relief work features a pair of hunting dogs in 24k gold, pursuing a rising pheasant framed in flourished gold scrolls, all set against a finely scroll-engraved steel background. A.A. White’s name appears on an applied plaque at the lower left. Housed in its original velvet-lined presentation case, the lid gilt-stamped A.A. WHITE / GOLD INLAY / AND ENGRAVING. White was one of the most influential American firearms engravers of the 20th century and founder of A.A.
