14K multicolored gold hunter case pocket watch featuring a rare enameled playing card motif dial. The case is beautifully hand-engraved with chased floral and foliate designs in rose, green, and yellow gold, centered by a shield-form monogram cartouche, and set with a single mine-cut diamond weighing approximately 0.02 carat. The movement is signed St. Roman, a private-label example by the American Waltham Watch Company, 15 jewels, double roller, serial no. 18095676, dating to circa 1912. The case is stamped C.W.M. & Co., 14K, U.S. Assay with serial no. 865205.
