The case is decorated throughout with dense foliate scroll engraving and features a finely engraved pastoral village scene to the front cover and a portrait vignette to the reverse. The inner cuvette is engraved “Walter G. Brown,” “1854,” and “Harry L. Brown,” preserving an intriguing record of the watch’s early ownership history.

The white enamel dial is signed Patek Philippe & Co., Genève, with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds register, and blued steel hands. The movement is a high-grade Geneva-made jeweled movement bearing the Patek Philippe signature and serial number 68394.
