Oil on canvas, signed Jacobson 40 lower left. A bold, modernist rendering of the high alpine landscape of Colorado’s Trail Ridge, with broad planes of snow, exposed rock faces, and layered ridgelines set beneath a crisp early-summer sky. Jacobson’s simplified forms and clean color harmonies reflect the painter’s mature WPA-era style and his ongoing interest in the American West’s monumental geography. Retains an original exhibition label on the reverse identifying the work and noting its loan to the WPA Art Program. Dimensions: 22 x 28 in.; framed 28 x 34 in. Provenance: Loaned to the WPA Art Program; Private collection, Reno, Nevada. Pickup & Shipping: Free pickup in Sacramento. Shipping via FedEx within the continental U.S. for $185 + 1.5% insurance (unless waived in writing). Combined lot shipping available.
