This classic Ojibwa bandolier bag is fully decorated in colorful contour beadwork with curvilinear floral motifs on a cotton trade cloth ground. The shoulder straps are bordered in white with complementary beaded florals and hearts. Bandolier bags of this type were often worn for ceremonial occasions and demonstrate the enduring tradition of Woodlands floral design. Dimensions: 41 x 13 in.
