Incredible Hulk #181, Marvel Comics, 1974. 1st full appearance of Wolverine (James “Logan” Howlett). Wendigo appearance. Len Wein Story. Herb Trimpe and Jack Abel Art. Herb Trimpe and John Romita Cover. Restoration consists of a small amount of color touch to the cover. Widely regarded as the premier Bronze Age key issue, Hulk #181 introduced Wolverine in his first full comic book appearance, launching one of Marvel’s most enduring and commercially successful characters whose popularity has spanned decades of comics, animation, and film.
