Fantastic Four #2, Marvel Comics, 1962. 1st appearance of the Skrulls. 2nd appearance of the Fantastic Four. Stan Lee Story. Jack Kirby and George Klein Cover and Art. One of only three Marvel Silver Age superhero comic books issued with a 10-cent cover price, this landmark early Marvel key introduced the shape-shifting Skrull race, which would become one of the publisher’s most enduring alien civilizations and a cornerstone of countless Fantastic Four, Avengers, and Marvel Universe storylines.
