Oil on canvas, signed and dated lower right; titled, signed, and dated verso. One of Kondos’ luminous Grand Canyon studies, painted in the later period of his career, reflecting his lifelong exploration of the American landscape alongside contemporary and friend Wayne Thiebaud. The original Crocker Art Museum exhibition label remains affixed verso.
