A color lithograph by Alexander Calder, one of the twentieth century’s most influential American artists and the inventor of the modern mobile. Pencil signed lower right and numbered 4/125 lower left, the composition presents Calder’s iconic biomorphic forms in bold fields of red, yellow, blue, and black, characteristic of the simplified visual language that defined his late graphic work.
Printed in colors on Arches paper in 1974, the year before the publication of Calder: An Autobiography with Pictures, the lithograph reflects the artist’s mature graphic style and is representative of the editions produced during the final years of his career.

Unframed. Overall good condition with light fading to the lithograph colors. No other condition issues noted during examination.
