Al and Mae Capone dresser and mirror from the Jacobean Revival bedroom set. Made of burled walnut veneer, the facade heavily decorated with ornate carving in Jacobean Revival style, the wood with dark sunburst finish. The ornate mirror frame serpentine with fancy floral carving, the base with two half drawers over two full drawers, the center middle drawer urn decorated and resting on groove carved bun feet. Bears American Furniture Company, Batesville, Indiana mark (American Furniture Company was established in 1879 and known for "high grade bedroom furniture"). Circa 1920s.
