Fifty-seven-piece Tiffany & Co. sterling silver flatware service in the English King pattern, patented in 1895 and marked “TIFFANY & CO. STERLING PAT. 1895.” The late Victorian pattern features reeded borders terminating in shell and foliate motifs. Monogrammed “HB.”
The service comprises six nine-piece place settings and three serving pieces: 6 dinner forks, 6 salad forks, 6 dinner knives, 6 butter spreaders, 6 tablespoons (place spoons), 6 teaspoons, 6 iced tea spoons, 6 coffee spoons, 2 serving spoons, and 1 serving fork. Most pieces remain in their original Tiffany & Co. fitted wool storage rolls bearing woven Tiffany labels.
Pickup & Shipping: Free Sacramento pickup. Shipping via FedEx within the continental U.S. for $40 plus 1.5% insurance. Combined lot shipping available.
Standard size. Approximate weighable sterling silver weight: 73.96 troy oz., excluding knives.
Condition
Very good overall condition with light surface scratching, minor wear, and scattered tarnish consistent with age and use. Monograms remain crisp. Original Tiffany storage rolls show expected age-related wear and discoloration.
