Finely made 18K yellow gold cigarette case, the lid set with a rose-cut diamond clasp. The body richly decorated in applied multi-colored gold—rose, green, and yellow tones—depicting floral garlands, foliate scrolls, and pastoral vignettes within diamond-shaped reserves, all framed by intricate chased borders. The base bears full English hallmarks for London, with maker’s mark “G.A.S.” (likely George Adam Smith) and date letter “C”, indicating early to mid-19th century production.
Dimensions: 2.5 in. long; total weight 70.4 grams.
