14K yellow gold vesta or match case featuring an applied enamel playing card motif depicting the four suits—hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades—beneath an engraved monogram “HPM.” The interior is stamped “14K” and bears the maker’s hallmark “R Co,” attributed to Rosenwald & Co., Chicago, a noted early 20th-century manufacturer of fine gold novelties and accessories.
