The heavy 14K gold case, stamped Warranted 14K U.S. Assay and numbered 11260, features a box hinge and is richly engraved with birds and floral motifs in rose, green, and yellow gold, the reverse centered by a star motif set with a round-cut ruby of approximately 0.15 carat. The inner cover bears the inscription John M. Noble, likely the original owner. The movement features 15 jewels and a safety pinion. Anna L.
