Custom 14-karat yellow gold money clip mounted with a genuine 1924 Saint-Gaudens $20 Double Eagle gold coin. XRF analysis confirms the clip is fabricated from 14-karat gold. The iconic Double Eagle, designed by Augustus Saint-Gaudens and introduced in 1907, is widely regarded as one of the finest designs in the history of United States coinage. The coin is securely housed within a custom bezel that displays the obverse while incorporating it into a substantial and functional money clip. As United States coinage, this lot is exempt from applicable California sales tax.

Condition
Very good overall condition with light surface wear and minor handling marks consistent with normal use. The money clip retains good spring tension. The mounted 1924 Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle exhibits light circulation wear consistent with handling.
