A collection of three Continental European figural walking sticks dating to the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Comprising: (1) a finely modeled silver eagle-head handle with glass eyes and iv*ry beak mounted to a rosewood shaft with silver bands and steel ferrule; XRF analysis indicates the silver tests approximately .860 fine. (2) A carved stag antler handle depicting a half-skeletal, half-human figure emerging from the antler, mounted to a bamboo shaft with steel ferrule. (3) An Austrian polychrome carved Native American bust surmounted by stylized antlers decorated as feathers, mounted to an intricately carved simulated branch-form shaft.
