This is an example of Colt’s first entirely cartridge revolver, First sold in 1871, it is in .22 caliber, and is 7 shot. The frame is brass, and the barrel is steel. This one has the letter :B” carved into the grip on one side, with “Brown” carved into the other, Serial numbered 6665, the gun was made in 1874. Condition
The gun has a crisp, tight action, and is in very good condition. The barrel is grey. The grips have been carved with the owner’s initial and name.
