This is the tiny Remington Rider parlor pistol, made between 1861 and 1863. It appears to be factory engraved. These are quite scarce, and are the smallest guns ever made by Remington. It is percussion cap, and is not made for a powder charge at all. It is extremely well marked along its top, “Remingtons Ilion NY Patent Oct. 1, 1861.” It has handsome scroll engraving on both sides of the action. Dimensions: 4 inches long overall, with a 3 inch barrel. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $25.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.

Condition

The pistol is in good condition, but does not hold on cock. There is some pitting on both sides of the frame. The grips are excellent.

Shipping is only in continental U.S. and information regarding shipping price is provided within the description of each lot. For international and larger items that we cannot ship in house, please take a look at our shipping contacts.
