A pair of modernist 18 karat gold earrings by Weingrill, executed in a bold geometric ribbed design with polished stepped surfaces. The sculptural square form reflects the clean architectural styling associated with late twentieth-century luxury jewelry design. Designed as clip-on earrings. Weingrill was a respected American jewelry manufacturer active during the mid-to-late twentieth century, known for producing substantial gold jewelry retailed through high-end department stores and luxury jewelers. Marked “Weingrill,” “18K,” and “750.” Total weight approximately 21.6 grams.
