In 1952, he completed his studies at the San Fernando School of Fine Arts in Madrid. After travelling through several European countries including Italy and Great Britain, he helped establish the El Paso group with other artists of the period such as Antonio Saura. In 1960 his "spirals" were exhibited at the MOMA in New York. Good with minor surface wear.
