Vintage Longines gentleman’s chronograph wristwatch in an 18K gold case, powered by the celebrated Longines caliber 13ZN manual-wind flyback chronograph movement. Introduced in the 1930s, the 13ZN is regarded as one of Longines’ most important chronograph movements and was technically advanced for its period, allowing the chronograph to be reset and immediately restarted while running. The silvered dial features applied Arabic and baton hour markers, luminous hands, outer timing scales, subsidiary constant-seconds register at 9 o’clock, and 30-minute chronograph register at 3 o’clock. Two-button chronograph configuration with winding crown at 3 o’clock. Fitted with a later expandable bracelet incorporating a non-gold strap section.
Dimensions: Case approximately 38 mm diameter. Weight: 64.2 grams including non-gold strap.
Shipping: Free Sacramento pickup. Shipping via FedEx for $50 + 1.5% insurance (unless waived in writing).
Vintage condition with surface wear, scratches, and signs of use consistent with age. Dial exhibits toning, spotting, and age-related wear. Case back with scratches. Mechanical movement is currently running when wound, and the chronograph and flyback functions operate. The watch has not been recently serviced.
