Adolph.F Klose was a shipping clerk for M. Eherrman & Co., and lived at 703 Post Street. He was a Civil War Veteran and Major of the City Independent Guard, which formed a Company of the 1st California. Michael N. Laufenberg was Lieutenant in the 1st California, and a salesman for the Baker & Hamilton Company, and lived oat 711 California Street in San Francisco.
