A Byzantine gold AV solidus (4.27 g) struck during the joint reign of Emperor Heraclius and his sons. The obverse depicts three crowned figures—Heraclius at center, Heraclonas to the left, and Heraclius Constantine to the right. The reverse features a cross potent set upon three steps. Graded NGC Ch XF, with a strike of 4/5 and surface of 3/5, the coin shows strong detail and appealing surfaces.
