Al and Mae Capone's decorative side table from Jacobean Revival bedroom set. Made of burled walnut veneer, the facade heavily decorated with ornate carving in Jacobean Revival style, the wood with dark sunburst finish the molded overhanging top above a single bracket front decorated drawer and lower cabinet door. The uprights heavily carved with a heavily carved bottom border on groove carved bun feet. Bears American Furniture Company, Batesville, Indiana mark (American Furniture Company was established in 1879 and known for "high grade bedroom furniture"). Circa 1920s.
