Adams's Patent 1867, sometimes called the 1866 revolver in .450 caliber. This is a civilian model, but most of these guns were privately purchased for British Army and Navy officers, and saw extensive us throughout the late Victorian era. This revolver retains about 90% of its dark charcoal blue, and is matching serial number 637, probably manufactured during their fist yer of production. The barrel has the Adams' name and address: ADAMS'S PATENT SMALL ARMS Co. 391 STRAND, LONDON. The gun has sharp proof marks on the barrel and on all six chambers of the cylinder. The butt has a fixture for a lanyard ring. The bore retains strong and clean rifling. Size: 12 inches long with a 6-inch barrel. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $65.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.

Condition

Excellent condition, retaining about 90 % bright blue. The action is tight and crisp. The markings are excellent.

Shipping is only in continental U.S. and information regarding shipping price is provided within the description of each lot. For international and larger items that we cannot ship in house, please take a look at our shipping contacts.
