Factory-sealed 1985 Star Olympic Gold Medalists 9-card set, accompanied by four original pieces of documentation from Star International and Shop at Home. The set commemorates the United States Men’s Basketball Team’s gold medal victory at the 1984 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles and includes Michael Jordan, Patrick Ewing, Chris Mullin, Sam Perkins, Vern Fleming, Wayman Tisdale, Scott Alford, and two team photo cards. The front of the sealed package displays one of the group photo cards, while the reverse reveals the back of the Michael Jordan No. 1 card. Included is a June 3, 1997 letter from Star International stating that approximately 1,500 sets were produced in late 1984 for distribution but were never released to the general public. Also included are the original 1997 Shop at Home purchase receipt, a Shop at Home customer letter regarding the distribution of Star products, and the original insert advising the factory-sealed package must remain unopened for return eligibility. The complete set remains sealed in its original factory bag and is accompanied by its original purchase paperwork, providing an exceptional provenance trail from original retail purchase to the present offering.
