William J. Keeler, National Map of the Territory of the United States, 1867. Linen backed map folded into 3/4 green leather with brown pebbled cloth boards. A first edition of Keeler's landmark map. Hand colored railroad map compiled from explorations of several Pacific Railroad routes. This map notes the location of all known gold, silver and copper mines. It also notes Indian reservations.
